First, I would like to say that I have enjoyed getting to know my new pups during the past 2 days!  I have learned all of their names and some of their learning styles or personalities.  They seem to very excited about learning new things and building off of what they already know.  Some of them have already begun giving me suggestions of MORE dog related classroom topics...they are digging our classroom theme!

Second, a few papers have gone home already with the pups in their "DogHouse" folder for you to read and participate in.  Thank you to the parents that have already emailed me a "Getting to my child" email.  I love reading about the children from your perspective and I also use this as a way to build a class email list.  More paperwork for the parents will be going home tomorrow in the Wednesday folders.  The pups were excited to hear that the parents have more homework the first week than the students.

Third, I look forward to meeting you tomorrow at the track 4 Open House (5:30-7:00).
